Have two Dbox2 running commando and find them great. About to buy a new box. What are the advantages of one over the other - ie Dbox v's Eurovox 5000 v Krypt... Will the fact that Ireland will switch to Digital only signal make any difference to which box you buy now.

If you have two boxes working at the moment, personally i'd sit tight and wait to see what's going to happen.

As has been posted numerous times before in other threads, nobody knows when the next Nagra will be rolled out, and nobody knows what boxes will work after it is.

The feeling is that the linux based boxes will be better able to cope but nobody knows for sure if any of the boxes will work.

why not try the diablo cam if you have a dvb-t tuner in your tv ie freeview tuner or a dual tuner in a satellite receiver ie dvb-s and dvb-t tuner this way you can use the cam for satellite and if mmds is in your area, wel you will need aerial. but load sof the new lcd tvs have dvb-t tuner built in and a cam slot.plus when rte start to broadcast digital freeview soon in mpeg4 i think not fully sure but think this way will work..
