Hi I got a new dvd burner in the past month and have been making backups of my movies, but ive run into some problems. I use my xbox as my dvd player and have run into some problems. i do have the thomson drive on my xbox which i hear has the most problems reading burned media disks, as my roommate has a samsung drive on his xbox and any disk i have not been able to read on my xbox DID work on his. anyhow i ran into some brands that didnt work, until i came across sony dvd-r's that worked perfectly in it. then after about 8 backups, all of a sudden copies i have made recently dont work, even though the old ones work still. also i have made backups and borrowed memorex dvd-r and +r from my friend and those all have worked, but i read somewhere on these forums that the memorex are crap? any help on why the sonys no longer work or brands that work would be greatly appreciated.
