i have a 1x pionner dvd burnner but i'm thinking of upgrading it. out of everyones opinion what is the best burnner on the market?
I own a pioneer 106 and my father owns a sony dru510a, both 4x burners and have never had a prob with either of them. Sure the read speed is pretty slow compared to a dvd rom, but they're only cheap so no excuse not to have one if you're not happy with the ripping speed. I suppose tho you'd be looking for an 8x burner? Have no idea what's good out there, only ever here about the plextor, tho i couldn't tell you whether it were positive or negative. My pioneer drive i picked up at xmas for $200 AUD, and the sony is only about 50 bucks more, if that. Bailey
