Having just gotten a Nintendo DSi, can anyone please advise on which card is better to run nds games: R4i or Acekard 2i or is there another better alternative? And where is the best outlet to purchase these cards - preferably with an 8Gb memory card.

Also, advise please on best software to run on the cards as I've heard that v1.4 software 'bricks' R4i cards and makes them useless...

    All replies greatly appreciated!

Get either the Acekard 2i or the M3I zero. Those are the 2 best cards for the dsi currently.
However, ONLY get the Acekard 2i if you have a reg ds or ds lite lying around or have a friend who has one. Most Acekard 2i's aren't updated to work on the newest dsi firmware. You have to download the update and apply it through a reg ds or ds lite, then after that it will work on the dsi.

Hi I'm new here -_- but I've been messing with my DS and cards for awhile now. The M3i Zero is the top card for the DSi although the Acekart2i is still very capable. Both will handle version 1.4 just fine, no bricking possible.

Although the Acekart2i will often require you to update the firmware of the hardware on the card itself from most stores. Oddly enough though the second acekart2i I got for my brother from Dscardworld already came updated, but it looks like they're out of stock on the M3i.
