Hi, I have a 1999 Volvo C70 (not sure if that helps). My problem is that the audio player...worth about some 1,200 (a system upgrade...by volvo) can't read my burned CD=R's. So far I've only tried Memorex CD's. It reads real cd's perfectly though. Any ideas? I'm willing to try almost anything, i can't stand running audio through the tape player and please don't suggest buying another stero.

    Buy another stereo ;)

It may help to burn your discs real slow. The Pioneer deck I have in my truck is picky with burned media and I've found that burning at 4X is the sweet spot for it.

As to media, I use Verbatim DataLife Plus or Taiyo Yuden because they last longer and have low error rates. I've used the cheapest media I could find and they play alright to begin with but they start skipping real bad after a few months.
