I have ripped many cds with CDEX and have never had a problem till recently. There are about 2 cds in my collection that will not rip. I'm just making Mp3s for my local hard drive. The cd is Michael Sadler's Clear and the other was the last Stones cd. The songs look like they rip but skip all the way throgh. I have over 700 cds and these are the only two. Any recommendations?
Have you tried Exact Audio Copy? Perhaps try it with AnyDVD if EAC alone doesn't work. BTW, rip to WAV files or some lossless compression format like FLAC, not MP3s. If and when MP3 becomes obsolete, you'll have to convert to another format, and the results will suck.
