Best Commercial DVD Software for ANY AND ALL VIDEO FORMATS?

    I want to Author DVD's being able to import as many formats of video as possible right into the software and then use those videos to create the movie I have made and burn it to DVD's. Most software I have tried only works with MPEG2 or one specific format. I want to be able to import pretty much any format out there (or as many common ones as possible) and the software will convert it for me to burn as a DVD. Any suggestions?

    If you want a program for rencoding then you should go with the likes of Cinema Craft Encoder, TMPGEnc, Canopus Procoder.

    Then for authoring you could use DVD Lab etc etc
