    im looking for a good program/combo of programs for copying dvds. i used to use dvdshrink + anydvd, and this worked like a charm. only problem is the trial ran up, and the cost is 75, up from a recent 30.

    are there any other programs i can use for copying that work better and how important is anydvd. if i have to i'll fork out the 75, but id rather find a cheaper alternative

    I clicked on ANYDVD from your post and what I went to didn't tell me what it does; but I noticed many people suggest DVDdecryptor on these various help sites. Very seldom can I get that to do anything. The thing I hate the worst is it almost converts DVD's I'm trying to back up to IFO files which I can't burn to DVD.

    If you want good burning software, I like IMG burn and it is free.

    @dvdsmut

    Anydvd is worth having as is DvdFab. You'll find plenty of people here at aD that use one, the other, or both.

    DvdFab Hd Decrypter is a free version so it adds a step of two. Rip to HDD then continue with Shrink as normal.
