    Hi,
First, thanks to all of you who have posted in this forum, I have enjoyed reading your posts and have learned a lot.

I am needing a DVD copy program with the following requirements and am hoping that someone could suggest the best one that does everything I need. (And direct me to where I can find it).

    Specific requirements:
    1. Copy protected disks (for backup purposes).
    2. Retain closed-captioning (not sub-titles), but actual closed-captioning for the deaf. This is EXTREMELY important.
    3. Copy entire movie on 2 disks if needed.
    4. Retain Dolby digital 5.1 and DTS sound
    5. It would be nice if the program could compress to one disk and provide all of the above features!

I already have DVD Xcopy Gold, and it does the above, but I can't transfer it to a new computer, so I'm stuck and need to find a replacement.

Thanks in advance for your help!
    The Watosh

Thanks for your replies to my post!

I've tried the Decrypter and can't see a way to expand a large DVD to 2 disks. Please confirm that it can be done. I really like the FREE part of the two programs that were suggested.

Also, does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with DVDFab? I downloaded the trial version and it could not copy my original Indiana Jones Raiders DVD. The picture was all broken up in small blocks.
I was using my laptop w/built in DVD ROM as the source and Lite-On DVD+-RW drive on USB as the target.

Thanks again for all your help!

I suggest you look at AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2. Both are available for a 21 day free trial. Should do what you want. Available at the following site: http://www.slysoft.com/en/
