    Hi all,
I had a look for some info on this but most of it was a good few months old. Im just wondering what would be the best box to buy in South Dublin for N*L cable? If its possible to judge, id want to go for the most future-proof box that wouldnt be affected by new encryptions for as long as possible. Dont know how easy it is to predict that however. All help much appreciated.

    Thanks a mill,

    Logi.

Encryption could change in an hour so future proof boxes dont exist... As for which one is best its been covered here several times over. Only certain boxs work now with your service provider.

Yea, i saw the threads about Kryptview being the best working one but was just wondering if it was possible for updating codes etc in the future. I had a SV1 before this which was great until the new encryptions. Was thinking about the SV4 USB but i suppose there is no telling which could last longer months from now. Just i dont fully understand the whole encryption thing. I know what it is but dont know how long the current boxes will last or what boxes could take new encryptions etc so was just checking if the more educated folks on it would know. I presume for the moment then the best is to just go with the best box for now and hope it lasts. Sure cant complain if it goes in a few months anyway, once i get my footie fix :) Thx for the reply also. Much appreciated.
