Best digi SLR for IR photography?

    Hi all,
    Am considering a new digital SLR to upgrade from my fuji S5500.
    I do a lot of infrared photography, and I know that many cameras have IR filters that severely affect the IR capability.
    I'm NOT keen on prising my beautiful new camera open and removing the filter - I like warranties and am quite happy to deal with longer exposure time.
    Anyway - I'm looking in the lower end range - either the Canon EOS350 or EOS400 or the Nikon D50 or D70.
    Has anyone shot IR with either / both?
    Which would you recommend as a good IR camera?
