Best DL DVD+R Disks?

    What are the best DL disks 8.5GB that are available?
    Been reading and it seems that Verbatim is the best but are there any others that are cheaper and just as good ?

    In short, no.

    Verbatims are the best out there. They are a bit pricey, but that's ok with me.

    Here are your options: buy cheap discs now and replace you xbox DVD drive later OR buy good discs now and save your xbox DVD drive.

    Yeah, get the Verbatims. They range in price from about $1 apiece with some searching, to
    $2 full retail price at stores like Best Buy & Fry's. Even at full price, is 2 bucks too much to pay for a game that won't jack up your DVD laser? I think not.

    1:verbatim - best
    2:arita - 2nd best ( the ones i use, had no problems in over 2 years)
    3:aone plus - 3rd best

    okay, I was being a gameover9. ;)

    No, verbs are the best. If you have a large hard drive you can get away with cheap discs as long as you install the game to the HD.

    exactly! so far...

    why run the risk of using cheap discs even if they work now... what about later?!!

    just buy verbs off amazon
