Ok I have a samsung drive that is going out on me. Would like to get a stock drive for the xbox. Don't wanna deal with the soldering other dvd drives just want the simple plug and play. Anyone prefer others? Would also like it to come with a kit because i don't have the torx to open the xbox. Any places to get a kit? Also wondering if I have to get the samsung to still play homebrew games? pm me for more info.
I would just get another Samsung drive. You can pick up the torx bits or a torx screwdriver from almost anywhere. Target,Walmart anywhere they carry tools pretty much.
