Best file format for fast web hosting ??

    Hello,

    Can anyone suggest a video file format that would be best suited for hosting on a website where the emphasis is on downloading/streaming the video quickly for playback. If there is a format that can make the file size quite small but retain decent video quality that would be preferred.
