ir shell is nice and includes alot but its main uses are wifi adhoc file transfer and a ir remote control for phat psp and it has any other basic function of the typical shell.
ultimate psptube is another good one for streaming and downloading movies from alot of different sites.

as for plugins one of my favorites is custom firmware extender because it has all the best plugins in one and makes it simple and other then that i use fusa, popsloader, and the hold plugin for when i want to listen to music and have the screen off without the use of buttons since i have the psp remote, also it fixes the problem of going into sleep mode on accident when swtching from hold mode so that nice and it saves power

cxmb is safe to use, its easy to install like most plugins and no risk of semi bricking its one of those that either you install right and put the ctf themes in the right spot and they work or don't but it won't brick
as for wifisniffer that is already built into the psp but they are trying to make one right now that can crack wpa and wep access points though a lot people don't think the psp is capable unless you try in the same place without problems while they are downloading for like 24 hrs so we'll see

Yeh i put aircrack on my psp about a week ago, its obviously not working yet because most features are not implemented yet.

Thanks for the reassurance, i watched a couple of youtube vids and did a bit of reaserch and put it on my psp without a problem. First time doing a plugin so was a little nervous but all went well. Only problem is that the theme colours for some ctfs i downloaded dont have iconcs and are just white. u have to double click them with x to show them and apply them. Does anyone else have this problem?

never had that problem, though i have had it with the background colors when selecting them from the theme menu since some of the 5.00 come with serveral backgrounds depending on the month, might want to just try other ctfs and see if it happens a lot of if its only with a few, you can find more from www.themespot.com

Yeh sorry thats what i mean. The colors of the themes contain the backgrounds. Ive downloaded 2 themes from(Here)and they both seem to have the problem but doesnt matter as they show when i tap them again.

yea he does and the problem hes having with them is common with a lot of the earlier 5.00 ctf themes and as mentioned isn't really that big of a deal

btw doesn't http://themes.pspspot.net just have .ptf themes or does it have .ctf too?

yea, we were talking about .ctf themes and they are just as easy to put in the theme folder but takes a little bit to install them like any other plugins; so yea that is a good site for .ptf themes but you can get .ctf themes from www.themespot.net made for 5.00 which are alot better then earlier cxmb versions or .ptf themes
