I'm looking for a very good pair of earphones under a budget, around $10-35 perhaps. I've already read reviews of Shure, v-Mode, Etymotic, etc., and I just can't afford them. I've personally tried the Bose Triport and I wasn't too happy with them, as when I switched to other EQ modes other than Acoustic, the sound is extremely blurry. I was very happy with my Sony Fontopia until they died out, and the next one I bought sounded really bad for some reason, and my Sony MDR-J10 earclips sounded very good until they died out also. My MDR-J20 died out, but that was my fault, and besides they never stayed snug in my ear properly. I also had another clip version which had excellent bass-boost, but the earphones themselves were very bulky and felt heavy in my ears (that got stolen along with my 1st iPod, which really pissed me off). And sadly, the ones I've been looking for aren't being sold anywhere last I checked, they only have much newer models. Basically, I'm an audiophile under a budget. Amazon's hit-and-miss reviews don't cut it for me anymore. They reviewed Coby's earphones which were terrible to my ears, so I can't really rely on them. Here's what I'm looking for: -A very good bass and treble -Crisp, clear sound under any EQ setting -Able to block out some outside noise (it doesn't have to be noise-cancelling though, those tend to be blurry in sound to me as well) -Preferably ear-clip style, but as long as it can stay snug in my ears with comfortable ease, I'm fine -If they are available in retail locations or on the internet, please let me know
Koss!!!! great bass and around 20 bucks. They have the foam ear inserts that act like ear plugs. I use them when I fly. Don't hear no screaming babies no more.....
check out a site called dealextreme.com they have very good earphones for a low price i advice you to get the aluminum and orange earphones i ordered 3 pairs of those and all of them were perfect cable was sturdy earphones were good quality sound was excellent you could hear bass great check out the reviews very low prices.

triedis, you can get the V-moda on E-Bay for about 35.00 i think there the best out there http://electronics.search.ebay.com/...EarbudsQQssPageNameZRC0021?_trksid=p1638.m120
If you are over 30 Koss are better 10-20,000 Hz for less. V-moda 12-22,000 hz. We can't hear above 20,000 hz. I got my Koss for $7 on ebay.
this is going to sound funny but i just bought an HP laptop and it came with a pair of earphones. these are the best earphones i have ever listened to anything through. they have an adjustable volume control on the wires. i love these earphones.
That does not sound funny at all. In the ear bud world, quality has nothing to do with price. I would expect an engineer at HP would buy good ones. I bet they cost HP a buck or less.
