Verbatim! I don't think many companies make lightscribe media. I think it's Verbatim, HP and something else. Just stick to Verbatim.
You really should be using +R media, for the sake of booktyping, since only +R media can be booktyped, however, perhaps your burner is not capable of booktyping. Anyway, here's a link for lighscribe +R media, http://meritline.com/lightscribe-dvd-r-plus-media.html HTH, Rich
all verbatim lightscribe that i have seen are (+).. i know the HP, and lacie burners.. i'm sure the benq's that do the lightscribe can also booktype. the media choices are..(did a quick search on pricegrabber.com) verbatim hp memorex (everyone's favorite) and lastly TDK.. only use verbatim..
In regards to Media, I personally prefere HP's Then Verbatim. TDK is no longer producing any CDR or DVD discs. There will be other brands by the end of the year. Memorex is my last choice. I will use only if I run out of HP's or Verbatim's. If you search for LightScribe discs you can find them cheaper than Meritline. I came across one site that was advertising HP's DVD+r 30 Pack in Slimline cases for $19.99. I will have to search again when I ready to buy. Enjoy your LightScribing.
i can personally say verbatim lightscribe is the best i have used 40 succesfully burned 40 that include films tv shows and ps2 games
Verbatim hands down! In this case you definitely get what you pay for.. Thus far I have had 50-60 burns and not one coaster. Sams Club has an awesome deal.....30 pk for $25 Sometimes Best Buy runs the same type of deal. I recently spoke to Verbatim as they stated they will be coming out with different color discs this summer ie: Blue, Red, Green instead of just the monochromatic gold.
I'm ashamed to say it but in my new burner I get better Kprobe results on my Verb lightscribe media than on my +R Taiyo Yudens! Verb lightscribe is definitely the best!!
