What is the best lossless video codec to use when converting a CD-G? The colour depth in the CD-G format is 4-bits and the resolution is 300x216 pixels. Does any lossless 4-bit codecs exist, or must I use a 8-bit?

Well I do not know of any Lossless 4 or 8 bit Codecs but it is well known that the Best Lossless Video codec for the AVI format is called "HuffYUV" which is a 24/32 Bit RGB/YUV Lossless Codec that Compresses Video to More than Half it"s Uncompressed size without any Loss in Quality....

The HuffYUV Codec is Freeware and can be easilly found by doing a Google search....

    Cheers
