Ok, first I'd like to say hi to everyone on the board and you guessed right I'm a n00b at DVD-R. I've got the hang of ripping, splitting etc etc but I was wondering what media is best for movies? I've tried bulkpaq and have found them to be very good...if i needed coasters. I need a good quality media that will play on the majority of home players.
Thats what I thought. Most of the sites that I've been on (im in the UK) are sold out though so I've ordered some Traxdata to try out until I can get hold of some Datawrite.
i live in the uk as well, if you want a supplier let me know and i will send your there web address, they have some in stock as well
here you go: http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/ i allways get my stuff from here, very good service, of you order say on a monday, it will at your house the next day
I looked at this site and I checked and i don't think it shipps to the U.S. Has anyone in the U.S. ordered from them. I wanted to buy from them but is there any other good site like that that has the traxdata datawrite...etc. Thanks.
I alway purchase from http://www.supermediastore.com/dvdmedia.html They have almost every 2x, 4X DVD-R and DVD+R Media, love their price. 2.4x DVD+RW only $1.99 each for 100 pack in jewel case All of them are good for Sony Dru500a
I like Arita DVD-R, because they play on all sorts of standalones. I order them from http://www.conlines.nl (Holland)- the spindle of 10 costs around 16 euros. Lead data DVD-R is also a good choice, but there is at least one standalone that doesn't accept them. They can be found at http://www.padeg.be (Brussels - 15 euros for 10) If someone can tell us of other brands that are cheaper, and compatible with all players, let us know.
I'm currently using White Label DVD-R's and these will play on every DVD player I have used inc Playstation 2.
