Best mp3 ripper- encoder?? and more.

    Hi , I wonder if you can advise/ help. I have just got my first ipod (nano) when I want to rip my own cds to go on to the ipod, should i just use itunes with the correct settings or Lame and a mp3 ripper. If Lame and another ripper- what one do you recommend (OS Vista)
    Also I have read a little about Lame and know that you have to take a file out and drop it in with the ripper. Please is there a tutorial for this.

    I recently began using EAC (Exact Audio Copy) with LAME. You don't have to do anything but use the GUI with EAC, no drag and drop to LAME. As I said it is recently that I began using it, so I have no long term data to provide, but what I have done so far turned out fine.
