I used DBPoweramp but it ended up asking me to pay for the mp3 licenses. I am looking for a good program to rip music CDs at 320 kbps. I can download a cracked version so I guess t doesn't matter if it's free or not.

    THanks

Try using winamp pro, it's ripping options are decent for higher quality mp3's, and it supports all the newer tags. Db poweramp might have run out, but if you clean every trace of it off of your pc (including registry entries and such) and download it again, you'll get another 30 day trial running. and this can be done over and over, so.... :)

The best CD ripper hands down is EAC (exact audio copy). It has extensive error correction to ensure an accurate ripe, and when combined with the LAME dll extension using VBR encoding, the result is very good sounding mp3s. Use 192 or 256k VBR at least.

Here is the guide on how to setup and use EAC

And just FYI, next time try doing a search first, as this quesiton has been asked about 500 times already...

Can anyone link me to a thread about EAC? I'm looking for optimal settings for my EAC. I searched, but couldn't find much...

One of the best music rippers you have to pay for is Easy CD DA Extractor.
