any suggestions on a good printer with a disc hub that does direct disc printing? Any idea what brand disc is best for this as well?
perhaps if you would have used the search bar for this you would have found the tutorial for printing to dvds, and it would have listed several great printers to use, and what media to use, hell i think it even listed what ink to use.
Printable Verbs are the best discs to use. You can buy cheaper discs, but I wouldn't recommend it for the same reasons I wouldn't recommend using cheaper non-printable discs over Verbatims. The 2.4X rated printable Verbatims have a bigger centre hole (EDIT - the actual hole is obviously the same size, but there's an area around the hole on the 2.4X discs that you can't print to) than the 8X rated ones and most printable disc images are designed with the smaller hole in mind, so you might want to consider that when buying your discs. There are some Epson printers that are good for printing to discs and the compatible ink is usually nice and cheap. I use a Canon Pixma iP4600 which gives great results, but the US version doesn't do disc printing.
