Best quality way to get dv on a cd/dvd ?

    whats the best way to get a exact copy of dv from camcorder to media and how eg programs etc.

    and whats divx like to encode or is dvd better for dv?

    I got firewire and such.

    also i have nero with vision express and dr divx i dont know if they are any help

    what's wrong with nero? It will capture straight to mpeg 1 or 2. Burn vcd or dvd. any other process will take much longer like capture straight to DV format and then convert to something else.
