The DVD drive in my boy's X360 has started giving us the "disk unreadable" error message, so I'm assuming the drive is shot. Did do a postcard fix that I found on youtube that worked for a bit, but it's stopped again and even the postcard won't fix it. I'm looking to replace the drive myself, but see there's conflicting claims on which drive manufacturer is best. I'm planning on modding the firmware and have already ordered a card with the Via chipset, but not sure which drive will give the best performance, reliability, and ease of flashing. Tried using search for an answer, but couldn't find an answer. Suggestions?
