    Hey guys,

I've got a virgin cable modem and a Belkin router right now and have 2 XBOX's. I've managed to open ports on 1 XBOX IP so that it has OPEN NAT but the other one is always strict/moderate which means i can't join games or some of my friends. I've tried putting it in DMZ but it is still moderate. I've heard D-Link routers have good compatibility with XBOX Live and that one for ADSL allows up to 4 XBOX's with OPEN NAT, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good cable router for XBOX Live?

    Cheers

    Stephen

I'd say avoid Belkin. My wireless adapter can't even see the damn wirless network whereas all the other wireless devices in the entire house can.

You can try enabling uPnP on the router. Works for my Belkin.

I'm using SMC router, no problems at all. I have an xbox and ps3 going at the same time.

Yeah I've heard Belkin is pretty bad for compatibility. I actually did enable UPNP and it turned my open NAT to strict lol, weird. I'll give the D-Link a try. Thanks
