Once again my optimism gets pimped slaped :(. Here I figure there is just ONE way to do a x-clamp fix and I'd be able to follow along with one of the youtube tutorials and everything would be good and happy in my world. Come to find out that once again like everything else in the world everybody wants to do it there way because there way is the way it works...typical. Anyway, I end up having to do something completely different from what my youtube compadre is doing(that's what happens when you look for cheap) and it ends up being a lot more frustrating. Instead of a nice step by step video I get a pdf tutorial ><. As of now I've elimated the 3 ring threat and I'm now facing the 2 ring sneak attack and asking myself why didn't I just purchase the youtube guys kit. So I'm just venting and wondering in all of your infinite xbox 360 wisdom which kit have you come across that has given you the best sucess rate and not tested your dexterity(mines being very poor) to the point you curse the man that created his ideal piece of @#$%*$ that he calls a rrod kit.

The hybrid fix seems like it is the best option to date. It is not a quick fix and requires some effort. I believe that it has the best success rate and will not crap out after a month. It can be found at www.xboxexperts.com It doesn't require a kit all supplies can be found at a hardware store.

yea dont buy kits. All those kits are created by people that go to lowes or home depot and buy 2 dollars of bolts and washers and package it in a sticker that says RROD kit and sell it for 20X what they paid for it.
