Best software for MKV to AVI

    Can you guys tell me what you think is the best software to convert MKV to AVI? I want to convert 720 movies to AVI so I can burn then to DVD via nero. I dont know why those morons cant shell out some extra bucks and have that option native in nero 9. Now days seems like MKV is becoming popular.

    The new HandBrake does not support AVI(Divx) anyomre, you would have to hunt down an old version( 0.9.3).

    I think I answered you in other thread, why not use a different program to convert the MKV directly to DVD, there are plenty free ones, like AVS2DVD or TheFilmMachine?
