Hey i was wondering what the best software was to edit the album, artist, song, etc info automatically. im looking for osmething like whats in wmp when u right click and click on update album info, but i want something that can do multiple tracks at once, becuase in wmp it takes forever to do a whole cd by doing each track individualy. is there something out there that does this good? i tried Tag&Rename but it was a little confusing and i couldnt tell if it was going to do what i expalined above.

Of all the mp3 taggers that I've seen in the past six or seven years, I can tell you that Tag&Rename is hands down the best. It is easy to use, with a windows explorer-like interface, and has loads anf loads of features. Rename and tag your mp3s in pretty much any way and configuration you can think of. You can download a trial version which lasts 30 days I think, but once you use it you will see that it is definately worth the $30 to register it.

so stick with T&R. Its really not that hard to use, and you can do everything with it.

next time, please do a search. this question has been asked many many times

I did read your post, as you can see I said "stick with T&R." you won't find anything better. It is a very extensive program, and very easy to use.

    Hello peeps,

Sorry if I am intruding in this thread, but I have a similar problem as Mr. Warrior73 - except that I have about 1GB of mp3s of which a few have been recorded from Y! Unlimited engine (FYI - I'm a registered user :) )
using ReplayMusic v2.40. According to ReplayMusic, that s/w is supposed to be doing the taggin work automatically. But unfortunately, it did not do it. So, I downloaded Tag&Rename v3.2 and opened all my mp3 files. Here is my verdict.

First off, whoever said that the GUI is simple to use for a noob is sooo wrong. It is utterly confusing (for a noob like me). Anyways, here's what I did
    1. After opening all my mp3s, I went on and clicked the "Rename Files"
    2. After the files were loaded, I selected on and r.clicked on it and said "Edit File Tag". Well, all those mp3s loaded with the name - "Not Recognized- Tag Number"
    3. A new window popped up and it showed basically the same names as before- like Not Recognized for artist name and track 18(that happens to be track 18 in my playlist) for Title.
    4. There was this button "CopyfromID3v1" which I clicked and had no effect.
    5. So I go P***ed off and hit cancel and started typing in this question :)

    Please help me m8s!!!
Thanks a bunch for any response...adios

It's the fault of Replay Music that the original tags aren't correct. ALso check the official T&R website for help.
