Best software to make a dvd?

I have some avi files and i made them into a dvd but when i play them back the audio was mess up it play the audio before the actions is there a good software to covert avi and divx to dvd..

 

hi omar what are you currently using to convert your avi files to mpeg2.There are few good programs available but what do you require

 

Just any one that is good because i been using dvd santa but im having troubles with the audio after playing them back on my dvd player but on my pc if i play the files they work fine..
