Just purchased a DVD recorder for the tele which now means I can get my skiing videos onto DVD and can then play around with them on the PC.
Burned my first disc yesterday but it was a right pain. PC came with Powerproducer 2 gold which I created my disc with but that tries to burn to my DVD reader not writer (so it fails) but doesn't allow me to change the settings to get it to try the right drive.

I see that Powerproducer 3 allows text and audio dubbing which I would really like but is PP3 as inflexible in it's settings ?
I managed to burn the disc by burning to the hard drive & copying across with Nero.
Which does everybody view as the best 'movie' making software ? - I'm happy to pay although I'm not intending to become the next Speilberg so I don't want to pay thousands !!

    Thanks

    Kilo

firs i would like to say i like your nick, fatbadger lol...

anyways, nero vision express is a great software that you can use for your dvd authoring, i have to say that i am no big fan of cyberlink products (aside from power dvd and power cinema) i use intervideo which is faster and 'flexible'...

    that is:
    Intervideo WinDVD Creator
