The 80" Glass Holographic HDTV with silicon crystal reflective display 1080i $30,000. Well you did ask for the best.
Samsung LCD 1080p from 40 inches to 50 inches is a great bang for your buck type of TV. Definately get the Sony if you got a lot of money to spend.
Or maybe something like the Sharp Aquos 32" HDTV, if you don't have too much money. That's what I plan to get for college, if I can gather up the money.
Is it that important to get a tv capable of 1080p if the screen size isn't going to be that big anyways (like say 32")? [btw, I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't know.]
sony is alittle over priced. The new samsungs have a slightly better PQ and deeper blacks. especially the newer 4665 samsung. new 81 series coming out this summer sporting 50,000:1 Contrast ratio.
