Hi, I have 2 starview boxes and appreciate the problems with updating the codes and legal issues for the forum. What is the best firmware for the UK that has autoroll of the codes with the Box? Any help much appreciated. Bila007
if its starview 1 or starview 3 boxs you have dont put any of those versions on them that is for the box only

when i read the thread i said thats the box hes talking about but then went into the thread he said i have 2 starviews have to be carefull dont want bricking peoples boxs and il answer him as well if he has the box 451 is more stable than 454
Ok mate, your the member and im a newbie but if your saying 4.51 is more stable than 4.54 i will have to disagree 100% 4.54 is without doubt the best and most stable software for The Box

No problem mate, i'm not trying to be argumentitive after all we are all here to help and be heleped out by one and aother, if celtic71 (c'mon the huns lol) reads this i would be interested to hear her views on the 2 versions, i have been running 4.54 since it came out and the only downside i can see to it is the amount of non functioning channels it picks up 4.51 to many to list. I disagree with 4.50 for ireland as sometimes the epg makes it freeze and go pink and/or green and reboot because it's faulty. The epg is useless as that happens. it may aswell be called electronic pink and green in 4.50. version 4.52 is better for ireland.
the reboot on mine about once every 2 or 3 months and my epg is not bad once u have the clock set right so i can live with that on the 4.50 prefer to get my tele guide from a mag anyway

I knew my ears were burning for a reason lol Ok here's my input Personally I perfer to direct people to use either 4.50 for Ireland / 4.51 for UK on the Starvi*w 2 "THE B0X" as I have seen upteen people with problems either flashing or using any firmware above this In saying that , people will give feedback in haivng no problems with 4.54 also .
