best UK webite for 8cm disks

    heya guys.
    finaly got my GC to boot backups.
    turned out it was the dvds i was using.
    has anyone got a link to a uk website that sells
    GC compatable mini dvds.
    Ritek RiData G04 ive heard are good but cant find any uk sites
    with them.

    Glad to hear it. Did you get it working with that TDK DVD-RW disc that you said you had? I'm just curious to know if it works with RW discs too. In regards to your post, I don't have a link that you are looking for, just wanted to ask about the disc that you did get it to work with. :)

    Hi, I get mine from www.whitedog.co.uk. Piodata is the brand but they use the Ritek dye. I do tend to get disc read errors with some games, not sure why really. Some work fine and some give me DRE after 5 or 10 mins. I always finalise the DVD (with Nero) and burn at 2x (the slowest my DVD-R drive will burn at. Can't think what else can be doing it...but anyway, those discs work ok for me.

    nah the rw didnt work even tho it was a TDK
    but i went an got 2 TDK full soze dvdrs today and it worked
    first time!
    ive found some online that use G04 dye is that the right one?

    Heh, i cant get TDKs to work at all, very bad media to me:D
