Hello, I use to like to make video/photo shows a ways back with pinnacle, nero, sony vegas and windows movie maker... And now I'm starting to feel like I wanna make some again but the programs I have are the older versions that don't support ts, mp4, mkv and flv files that I'd like to snip clips from to use along with some photos. So I'm very close to just convert all the videos I have into avi or mpeg but I think that maybe someone knows of such a photo/video editing program that can handle all of these formats for splicing to save me long hours of converting just for a few seconds of video and because I haven't been in the software loop in awhile I figured that maybe technology has improved and someone here knows. So whats the best photo/video editor nowadays that can handle/support all these formats?
best best best... the "best" is the thing that does what you need at a price that is right... usually gimp
