make sure the drive is in an anti static bag. i usually get a box and then wrap so much bubble wrap round the drive (while in its anti static bag that is) that when it goes in tho box it cant actually move this way you know its not going to bounce around in the box and it its dropped in transit theres plenty of padding to cushion the drive from damage
What if it is in a External HDD case? Please tell me it doesn't matter because I forgot the esb at the store a half hour away. Also what if the HDD is blank will it electro-static affect it?
Honestly, as long as you unplug the cables and maybe put alittle piece of masking tape over the jacks: You should be disco (fine). Yes, the bubble wrap -can- screw things up. But, it's very very rare. You really have nothing to worry about.
