I have I7 core cpu and am using any video converter but it only seems to use 15 percent of my cpu at most. Is there a more efficient program for encoding xvid.
avidemux and mediacoder use all the available cores. But some codecs are more tweaked for multicore use. I know the h264 codec will use all the cores to it's maximun, the xvid codec when I used it wasn't pushing the cores to the limits.
