better light or heavy armour?

on 2142 which do you think is more important mobility or protection

 

Mobility, not just for 2142, but everything. Who wants a lumbering hulk, even though it can take alot of hits, it will go down. A mobile object can avoid the hits all together.

 

but on the different classes assualt and recon shouldn't the assualt have the heavy armour and the recon the light
