Einstein always said "Imagination is more important than knowledge." What about a movie player that was smaller, lighter more portable than either HD DVD or Blue Ray disc? How would you like to store your entire movie collection in something the size of an ordinary lunch box? Movies that couldn't scratched, worn out like tape, and were the size of postage stamps! With the enormous decrease in price of flash SD media, one could put an entire High Definition movie onto a card media and simply insert it into a slot on your "Player" and watch an entire movie with extras, and all the goodies. It would never scratch and would read faster than the current DVD media, whether red or blue laser. Food for thought....
pc = the new vcr Not sure about flash drives etc,but in places like japan where average internet connections are 100mb and you can buy a neat little pentium d pc with 500gb hard drive for €300,the pc/video on demand revoulution is where its at.. 4 years ago you would have been laughed at if you had a pc under your tv playing an avi file of spiderman, but not today and in the next ten years nearly every household will have some sort of pc device playing movies etc... You can get killed in the car going out for a blu ray disc lol....
