bf2 memory????

    i was playing battlefield 2, and i ctrl alt delete, and under Performance, my PF Usage of Memory was 622mb, but i only have 512mb of ram, how is this possible or am i miss understanding this whole memory usage?

    I could be very wrong about this but i think it starts using your hdd as virtual memory when you run out of memory.

    could also be your gfx card they have built in memory

    dkertesz, the videocard memory won't be picked up by the performance check.

    so does means i should be getting more ram, because i was thinking about getting up to 1.5gb anyways, but i was wondering on just what it was doing being that high and were it was getting the extra 100mb's from

    Another 512mb will help, i can play the fame fine using 1gb but it's recommended you have 1.5gb for the best game play.
