hello, i am new to x-box. i have got ps2 down, but this seems like a whole new ball game. can anyone tell me how to mod, without soldering, and without ftp? thanks.

Quadratic, your the man dude! hahaha Well, if you want to get the best use out of your Xbox, then you will want to ftp things to and from your Xbox. It is easy to learn how to do, all you need is a simple crosover cable and a computer. Otherwise you are going to be wasting a TON of discs! Solderless chips are quite expensive, and I am serious when I say that solder chips are NOT hard to install. One of the very first times I soldered was an X3 chip into my box, and it was flawless.
