I have a download of IL-2 on my HD but the only thing that extracts are a Cue & a Bin file. Can I open the game from just these 2 files? If so, how??? I have read a thread which recommended the prog blindwrite but I have no clue on how to use it..... THanx all
as far as I can Gather, these are cd images. if you use nero burn them as an image, using the cue file, and the end result will be a gaame on a cd.
BlindWrite is VERY straight forward to use. Did you even try? Another way to use BIN/CUEs is to mount them with a virtual drive emulator, such as Daemon Tools http://cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/daemon_tools.cfm
I downloaded 2 bin and 2 cue files for Disks 1 and 2 of Icewind Dale 2. I also downloaded and installed alcohol 120% and Daemon-tools, but I can't figure out how to play then from my HD, chich Daemon-tools says it is for. I think I can copy them to CD with alcohol (right?) by using the Image copier, but I'd like to see if I can get it to play off my HD. Any help?
The word you are looking for is MOUNT IMAGE. Both of these tools are especially made for that and not that difficult to use. I doubt that nobody can crawl along these wires to move your mouse for you.
Icewind dale 2 is a retail game and it is illegal to download it or to offer it for download. The use of Bin/Cue files is explained into the sticky thread at the top of this forum.
