BIOS in the system is not fully ACPI compliant

    when i try to format my pc the screen goes blue and that messege shows up BIOS in the system is not fully ACPI compliant can anyone here help me with this what does it mean? and how do i fix it? thanks

    check motherboard site for bios update. see in bios to see if acpi is enabled or not.

    i cant find anything in bios about acpi

    also how do i get the update into that computer do i download it onto my laptop and put it on disc or a floppy

    check your manual as all bioses sre different as there are different bioses manufacturers.
