bit torrent downloads music / movies not playing

i downloaded some music (it says mp3 0n the download) and transfered it to cd but the cd does not play on my audio equipment.
And all the movies i down load do not play at all what am i doing wrong?

Did you create an audio CD or is it just mp3 files.

 

hi did not create anything should i have the mp3 thing is written on the down load

 

Often, downloaded files are in compressed .zip or .rar format.
If so, they have to they have to be uncompressed or extracted before they can be used.

 

Thanks man got the audio working now the film thing all i get is sound and no picture please help or else it says i need to dowload some other prog.

 

What program does it say you need to download.

 

xvid downloaded it no difference here is an example of te file when i download but it wont play picture just great sound quality. law.and.order.ci.701.dsr.xvid.nottv.avi
