Bit torrent file sharring

i am completely blown away by the whole bit torrent thing. i've read all the faqs and forums out there and i'm sill a little lost.

curently i'm using mirc to share and download, but it seems like .torrents are becoming more popular and i would like to join on to the fun since i have download faulty files b4 on mirc

i got the original bit torrent sharing program and i just completed downloading half life 2. what do i do with the files?

It's a game for the computer.
He's sent me 3 word files which I've read and also 4 compressed files which I figure I'd better unzip.

 

i've spent over 20hrs. extracting these freaking files... is it supposed to take that long?

 

hi mate sounds like it needs to be binned it should only take a minute or two to extract

i ran out of space on my hd when i was extracting the files, so i just cancelled the extraction and deleted all the extracted files. (i still got the original rar files)
i already got A new hd maxtor 120gb so i just gotta make sure my computer has drivers 4 it. is there any way i can check to see if my computer has the right drivers?

 

Um, I would just buy halflife 2. You need a steam account and must register the product.
