    HELP WANTED!!!!

The movies or tv shows i download from supernova doesn't work in any of the players, media player, real one, divx, it's keep stating that format not supported by the players. Is it that i need to convert the bittorrent format?

So which players should i use to play all these files?

They are not dled as bittorrents.
When finished they are either Divx movies in folders or SVCDs.
SVCDs need a special codec to play.
    Use VideoLan.org
    It's free.
    It plays everything also.

Does it play BIK or SMK files? :p (i'm just being picky here hehe)

Does that file have a lot of sources?

For a complete listing of almost every codec required to watch a movie and the order to install them in... pay a visit to http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/48608

One question to ask all of you..
Why is that that using shareaza can give a much better dl speed than bittorrent which the most can only give 2-3kb/s? And when i see that most pple are using bittorrent to dl... which will take them days to do that...

Second question, is that i have been trying to dl using bittorrent and all i get are errors tracking, etc and even if there is no error, it's keep stating connecting to peers and giving me a 0kb/s whereas using shareaza is connecting quicker than bittorrent..

Personal view is that shareaza is a much better software than bittorrent in term of performance..

Its a fairly common issue even amoungst people who know what they are doing .. performance with BT varies between users and sometimes greratly at that. :)

@ erik -> BT starts connecting from 6881 and tries up to 6889 when available.

Are those ports TCP or UDP because i'm gonna set up port fowarding in my router for porte 6881 through 6889 so i can achieve faster speeds. It works with other programs like overnet and eDonkey so hopefully it will work with Bit Torrent also. And I have the Experimental Bit Torrent so are the ports different?

    Thanx!

and no, the ports are the same, because virtually all clients are based on the same (python) core.

Download the Bit Torrent Search. It's like a metasearch for torrents. I've actually had better luck downloading with this program. For some reason my downloads always fail if I try to download through a website. I think you can find a link to it on http://www.Zeropaid.com.

Ok, I have some questions that might seem really stupid to you guys. But I need them answering really badly.

    1) How do you actually make a file available to upload? I have created some torrents using BitSpirit but I don't know what to do with them.

    2) How do I start a download from SuprNova? First off, I disable my Internet Security, the torrent saves and then opens up in BitSpirit like this:

I click ok, and then this screen appears, but nothing starts downloading:

    Any help?
