    hello ukballer,
    Does the movie contain vob, bup, ifo and pls files?
    If so you can use a number of programs to copy it to dvd, Try nero or you can use dvd shrink or dvd decrypter. Use the guides in there help files to learn how to burn, Its quick and easy.
    If its a divx or such type of file you will need a converting program such as vso which is a free down load from the internet.
    DVD shrink and DVD decrypter are both free downloads from the internet. I have never had a problem using them, but maybe im a lucky :)

    Hello again ukballer,

    Ok you say they are a .mpeg file? well vso will convert them into files which then can be burnt onto a dvd.
    You need to convert it using VSO then use DVD SHRINK and DVD DECRYPTER to burn them onto ur dvd.

    VSO will make a folder called divxtodvd in your my documents folder, thats where ur files will be to put onto ur dvd, make sure they go into the TS VIDEO folder on ur dvd, DECRYPTER will put them in automatically.

    Or you can use nero to burn the dvd files onto ur dvd media.

    I hope this is a bit clearer for you.

    Regards sulphate.

    A .rar file is similar to a .zip file. It's just a file that's been compressed with a special program (like winrar or winzip), so that it can be transferred faster over the internet.

    Uncompress .rar files with winrar (just like you'd uncompress .zip files with winzip), then you'll be left with either an AVI or a Bin/Cue file.

    From there, depending on which you have do (1) or (2) below:

    (1)AVI file --> VSO's DivxToDVD --> burn resulting VOB files in Nero.
    (2)Bin/Cue --> VCDgear --> AVI file --> go to (1) above.
