black and white help

friends softmoded xbox was working thin but now gone black and white its unlashed x how to fix please

 

sounds like he swithed it from NTSC to PAL, dl the Enigmah boot disk, cold boot it, and hold A. Then reboot, should fix you problem. btw if you are living in Europe hold B.

 

ok how do i cold boot?

a 50hz tv
50 hz games

and is running in 50hz mode

 

well an xbox is actuall universal, but its set in the OS to what region its supposed to be in. As for cold booting, that means you open you xbox drive, put a disk in, close and turn of the xbox, then turn it back on.

 

yeah its a uk xbox set to 50 the tv is 50
when i boot by puting a game in turning off then back on it loads the game in 3d

but when theres no game inside it goes to the unleash dash and its in black and white

ok i found out what it is the wire
i plug my wire to my mates xbox and his tv and colour then tryed his wire its black and white
so all to do with his wire

 

lol its always nice when its somthing stupid like that.

 

it is quite funny thinking whats wrong then looking all over the web then finally its the smallest thing that you dont think about
