black and white picture

    why when i view the dvd while it is converting on DVDx 2.0 it is in color when i put it onto a cd-r it is in black and white on the TV pleasa help me

    hmmmm, did you make sure that it's framereate suits your tv for instace, PAL= 25fps NTSC= 29.97fps, sometimes if a tv is PAL and NTSC is being played on it, it will appear in black and white and vice versa!
