black and white playback (DVD+PS2)

so you've backed up your DVD, PS2 game or gotten a foreign version?
it's now playing in black and white?
why?

well, it seems we've two different types of TV (50Hz and 60Hz)
most people wouldn't know and it's usually not something people look for.
it looks like the 60Hz TV will play the backups just fine (in color) and the 50Hz could play them in black and white.

also the more expensive the DVD player, the more components are used on the boards, more chips = more encoding, so the backups or foreign DVD's can only be seen in Black and white.
While a cheap DVD has less components and cheaper (to keep the costs down) and will play pretty much anything.
