Black borders around the picture - avi to dvd

    Im currently using sonic mydvd deluxe to convert dvix to dvd and im getting black borders all the way round the picture, Ive also used ulead videostudio 9 and get the same results, can anyone help me please ?

    I have left am image of exactly what i mean (the left and right side of the picture should fill the screen to the edges, but it doesnt)

    Try playing the avi or mpeg or what ever on your PC, do you see those borders?Play the dvd on the PC and see if it looks the same if not then theres some setting on your TV or DVD that you need to configure right.ANd if it still looks the same use another program THe FilmMachine or TMPGEnc.But all ways make sure to view the mpeg2 file on the PC before burning to DVD.
